the last few months

we like to keep things honest here: the last few months have been crazy.

ok, let’s be more honest: so were the last few years.

usthing existed but the number of bugs kinda kept increasing, and the student app (read: our archenemy) just kept getting better. well, a few of us were getting really annoyed at that and said let’s change things around here.

so over the last five to six months, we built a whole new app, we have worked really hard on our web application, we have gotten our non-technical operations in order, and now we are going strong.

but none of this compares to the friendships we have made along the way. the team seems less like a team, more a family. ig they’re right when they say, “those who suffer together, grow together”. with a family of 46, usthing always keeps changing. we recruit some, we lose some, but we never say we are done.

why? because we know we have a long way to go. when we committed to usthing, we also committed to you all to deliver our best, and we know we have a lot to do before we get there. but we promise you we will.

and yes, yes, we know we have disappointed you at times. a lot of you don’t like the changes we are making. but well, we are no experts either. reach out to us, tell us what you don’t like and let’s work together to make it better for all of us. after all, we are humans too, we either win or we learn, help us learn!
